HOPE CHAPEL OF EMPORIA  is a Bible-based Church. 

We seek to base all our beliefs and way of life on explicit passages of the Bible or biblical principles. 

Based on the Scripture, We believe the following.

The basic and fundamental doctrine of this organization will be the complete biblical plan of salvation,

Which is REPENTANCE, WATER BAPTISM  by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is God's infallible Word and the authority for salvation.   2 Timothy 3:15-17.

There is only One God, who has revealed himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. 

The Bible tells us Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh.

He is God and man 

Deuteronomy 6:4, Ephesians 4:4-6, Colossians 2:9, 1 Timothy 3:6.

We have all sinned and need salvation.

Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23-25, 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9.

The gospel of salvation is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.

We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8, 1 Peter 4:17) through repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection).

1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Acts 2:4, 2:37-39, Romans 6:3-4.

As Christians, we must love God and others.

We must live a holy life inside and out, and worship God with joy.

The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today.

Mark 12:28-31, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Hebrews 12:14, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

Jesus Christ is coming again to take His church.

In the end, it will be the final resurrection and final judgement.

The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unjust will inherit eternal death.
